Eagles @ Cowboys LIVE!
Dallas upsets Philly in a wild rivalry thriller
For all the missed opportunities and times that the Cowboys shot themselves in the foot during this game, they ended up making the 21-point comeback and getting the walk-off field goal to secure the victory over the Eagles.
Cowboys defeat Eagles 24-21 at home
The defending champs walked into AT&T Stadium, punched Dallas in the face for two quarters, and then watched the Cowboys snatch their season back from the brink. It was a rivalry game that included all that you could ask for - big plays, blown leads, turnovers, and drama. The Cowboys stunned the Eagles 24–21 after erasing a 21–7 halftime deficit.
Philadelphia came out hot, scoring 21 straight behind Jalen Hurts, who threw for 289 yards, added 33 rushing yards, and notched two rushing touchdowns. A.J. Brown (8 receptions, 110 yards, 1 TD) and DeVonta Smith (6 receptions, 89 yards) carved up the Dallas secondary early, and the defending Super Bowl champs were fully in control.
Until they weren't.
Dak Prescott threw for 354 yards and two touchdowns, including a 43-yard strike to George Pickens, who torched Philly for 146 yards on nine catches. CeeDee Lamb added 75 yards, and Dallas leaned on Javonte Williams (20 carries, 87 yards) to wear down the Eagles’ front.
The turning point came in the second half, when the Cowboys’ defense suddenly woke up. They held the Eagles scoreless over the final 30 minutes, forced two fumbles, and sent Hurts scrambling with tighter coverage and heavier pressure. Philly’s offense, despite being so in control early on, managed just 63 rushing yards and stalled out repeatedly.
Meanwhile, Prescott marched Dallas downfield for 17 unanswered points, capped by a short TD run from Prescott himself and a clutch 42-yard field goal from Brandon Aubrey to put the Cowboys ahead and win the game.
What's crazy is that Dallas tried everything possible to lose this game. The Cowboys racked up nine penalties, including drive-killers on offense and free first downs for Philly. They turned the ball over twice, once on a mistimed exchange and once on a forced throw from Prescott, and sprinkled in a handful of blown assignments and missed tackles that helped the Eagles build their early lead. It was the kind of sloppy, self-inflicted mess that would typically bury a team against a contender, which makes the comeback even more stunning. Despite the mistakes, the Cowboys steadied themselves when it mattered, tightened up in the second half, and somehow walked away with the biggest win of their season.
Dallas, now 5-5-1, strings together its first two-game win streak of the season, keeps its playoff hopes alive, and hands the champs a painful reminder that rivalry games don’t care about your record. And for Philly (8-3), it’s a long trip home knowing they let one slip, and to a team they love to hate.
The game-winner!
Aubrey's game-winning field goal! He may have missed a FG try from 51 this game, but it's so rare for Aubrey that there was really no way he'd miss this one. He sealed the victory for the Cowboys over the Eagles with the 42-yarder.

And sorry about that fumble earlier...hope you'll forgive me now.
I won't lie - I fully expected the Cowboys to either turn it over or get a penalty at the 1-yard line...really anything but a touchdown. But they managed to get the job done. After several missteps throughout the first half, a 48-yard run by Kavontae Turpin put the Cowboys in good field position. A 17-yard catch by Jake Ferguson put Dallas at the goal line, and Prescott's 1-yard pass to Pickens was caught for the touchdown. They now trail by two scores with just 21 seconds to go in the first half.

Dallas has a chance to score before the half here. They've got the ball at 2nd and 5 on the Eagles 19. But they have to not turn it over, not commit penalties, and actually get it in the end zone. That's proven difficult for them thus far.

Roughing the Kicker?
This was the penalty called on Dallas that gave Philly the ball back and led to their second touchdown...you tell me what you see there.
Hurts TD extends Philly's lead 14-0
The Cowboys were called for a penalty on the kick return, giving the Eagles another shot, and they were able to get into the red zone fast. Hurts made a pass to A.J. Brown for what looked like his second TD, but it was called back. On the next play, Hurts took the ball into the end zone himself on a 7-yard touchdown run. Elliott's PAT was good and the Eagles extend the lead with less than a minute to play in the first quarter.

GAME TIME!
And we're off! Dallas is starting off on offense today.
Elliott kicked to the Cowboys 4 and Turpin took it up 24 yards to the 28. Here we gooo!
Why the Cowboys should be worried today...
Dallas needs this game to keep its playoff hopes alive, but the matchup with Philadelphia is a rough one. The Eagles’ ground game with Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts, who gashed Dallas for two rushing TDs in Week 1, stresses a Cowboys run defense that hasn’t been tested like this.
On the outside, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith haven’t posted big numbers lately, but both remain explosive and could challenge a revamped Cowboys secondary still trying to find its groove.
On top of that, Philly’s defense has been on fire, allowing fewer than 20 points in three straight while piling up sacks and turnovers. Dallas hasn’t beaten many quality opponents this season, so this is going to be a steep climb.
Win or go home
The Cowboys aren’t sugarcoating their situation. At 4–5–1, they know their playoff chances sit at just 13%, and players like Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb are treating this stretch as a de facto postseason.
“Win or go home,” Lamb said, with Prescott adding that the next three games against the Eagles, Chiefs, and Lions will be “defining” for their season. Dallas believes it still controls its path, but that means stacking wins starting today against Philadelphia. A victory would give them their first two-game streak of the year and keep their playoff hopes alive.
Weather in Arlington
While the DFW area has still been pretty warm as of late, the temps for today's game are expected to be mild, in the mid-60s. There is the possibility of rain in the forecast, but the roof at AT&T Stadium will likely be kept closed throughout the game.
Cowboys vs Eagles INACTIVES
Cowboys Injury Report
The Cowboys get a key reinforcement back as WR Jonathan Mingo is active for the first time this season after recovering from injury and spending three weeks as a healthy scratch. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer said early in the week they wanted to “see him play,” and he’ll finally get that chance. Meanwhile, defensive end Jadeveon Clowney is active despite dealing with shoulder/neck issues and is expected to start opposite rookie Donovan Ezeiruaku. Trikweze Bridges also returns to the lineup after being inactive last week, stepping into a special teams role with Kaiir Elam waived. Solomon Thomas is back from injury as well, pushing Perrion Winfrey to the inactive list.
Cowboys INACTIVES
DT Jay Toia
RB Jaydon Blue
OL Hakeem Adeniji
WR Jalen Tolbert
DT Perrion Winfrey
Eagles Injury Report
The big news for Philadelphia is that center Cam Jurgens is active after missing practice time with a concussion and entering the weekend listed as questionable. He will play, but his health will be closely monitored after a physically demanding week. The Eagles will, however, be without RT Lane Johnson, a major loss against a Dallas front that likes to blitz and stunt inside. Wide receiver DeVonta Smith traveled separately due to personal reasons but is active and expected to play a full workload. With Johnson out, Drew Kendall is active after sitting last week and provides extra OL depth.
Eagles INACTIVES
RB A.J. Dillon
QB Sam Howell (3rd QB)
T Lane Johnson
CB Mac McWilliams
DT Ty Robinson
Eagles-Cowboys last meeting...
As I mentioned, the last time the Cowboys and Eagles met was in the 2025 season opener. The Eagles won 24-20 in Philadelphia and quarterback Jalen Hurts scored two touchdowns.
It was a wild way to open the season, not because of the final score, but for two memorable moments: the weather delay and the Jalen Carter spit.
The game was delayed for over an hour due to lightning in the area, and didn't finish until after midnight local time. But the craziest moment happened before the first snap of the game, when Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter spit on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and got himself ejected from the game. In case you forgot...
Eagles' Kelly Green
Today, the Eagles will be rocking their Kelly Green uniforms. They are 5-0 in them since bringing them back in 2023.
Prescott's impressive passing yards
Speaking of Prescott, he's looking to make history today. He's sixth in the NFL in passing yards for 2025 with a total of 2,587. But with just 160 passing yards today, he would pass Tony Romo as the Cowboys' all-time pass yards leader.
Cowboys own at home vs NFC East opponents
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is 21-2 against divisional opponents at AT&T Stadium. He lost his 2016 season-opening debut to the Giants in 2016, and then to the Eagles in 2017 - the last time he and the Cowboys lost to an NFC East team at home.
Is the Dallas defense really that much better now?
Dallas enters Sunday’s rematch with Philadelphia looking nothing like the defense the Eagles saw in Week 1. After struggling through the first half of the season, the Cowboys aggressively retooled at the trade deadline, landing linebacker Logan Wilson and star defensive tackle Quinnen Williams while also getting key reinforcements back from injury. The impact was immediate. Williams dominated in Monday night’s win over Las Vegas, logging 1.5 sacks and commanding double teams that freed up the rest of the front.
With DeMarvion Overshown and rookie corner Shavon Revel Jr. returning to the lineup, Dallas suddenly has burst, depth, and confidence on defense that they didn't before. Now the question is whether this revitalized unit can slow Jalen Hurts and an Eagles offense searching for rhythm.
Cowboys and Eagles: Where they stand
The Eagles come into Week 12 at 8–2 and dominating the NFC East. Jalen Hurts has been efficient and is hardly turning the ball over, and Philly continues to be a red-zone machine, punching in touchdowns at a league-best rate. The defense has been the real game-changers though. The pass rush looks deeper than ever, Jaelan Phillips has been a huge midseason spark, and Vic Fangio’s group is giving opponents almost nothing easy. The Eagles aren’t always explosive on offense, but they’ve been steady, physical, and comfortable in tight games. They now have a chance to sweep Dallas and tighten their grip on the division.
Dallas sits at 4–5–1, but the record doesn’t exactly match the reality. The offense has been steady behind Dak Prescott, who’s distributing the ball well to George Pickens, CeeDee Lamb, and Jake Ferguson, while Javonte Williams has given them real energy on the ground. The big story, though, is the defensive reboot. The trade-deadline haul of Quinnen Williams and Logan Wilson, plus the return of DeMarvion Overshown and rookie CB Shavon Revel Jr., has injected life into a unit that deeply struggled early in the season. Monday night’s win over the Raiders felt like their most complete defensive effort of the season. The Cowboys know they need this one to stay alive in the playoff race, and they are finally starting to look like a team capable of making things interesting.
Good afternoon and welcome to our live coverage of the Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys game!
