Jaydon Blue injury update: Cowboys RB shares positive news
Blue was already nursing an ankle injury during training camp so seeing him go down early in the last preseason game was pretty concerning for fans. After the game, however, Blue downplayed the injury, saying it was just a roll.
“It was the same ankle just got rolled up a little bit, but I don’t think it’s nothing serious,” Blue said. “I’ve had ankle rolls plenty of times, but I feel good right now.”

His comments provide some relief about his Week 1 availability. Beyond his speed, Blue impressed in special teams, blitz pickup, and tough inside runs, making him a versatile piece the Cowboys hope to have ready for their opener against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, September 4.
