With five weeks remaining in the 2025 NFL regular season, some teams have already seen their playoff dreams vanish. The race to Super Bowl LX, set for February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, is taking shape, and a handful of franchises are now officially out of contention.

Two AFC teams hit the wall

In the AFC, two teams have been mathematically eliminated. The Las Vegas Raiders sit at 2-10, while the Tennessee Titans trail at 1-11. With no chance to reach the postseason, both franchises are officially out of the Super Bowl LX race.

Three NFC disappointments

Over in the NFC, three teams have fallen short in the playoff race. The Arizona Cardinals (3-9), New Orleans Saints (2-10), and New York Giants (2-10) are all officially out, leaving the rest of the conference to battle for the remaining postseason spots.
