Saquon Barkley delivered a record-breaking performance, rushing for a career-high and franchise-record 255 yards and scoring two touchdowns, leading the Philadelphia Eagles (9-2) to a commanding 37-20 victory over the Los Angeles Rams (5-6) on Sunday Night Football in Week 12

This win solidifies the Eagles' position as the second-best team in the NFC, while intensifying the competition in the NFC West.

Kyren Williams (16 carries, 72 yards, TD) fumbled on the Rams' opening drive but redeemed himself on the next possession with a touchdown.

The Eagles initially struggled to convert in the red zone, settling for 21- and 31-yard field goals by Jake Elliott. That changed after the two-minute warning in the second quarter when Jalen Hurts (15/22, 179 yards, TD) connected with A.J. Brown for a touchdown. The play was initially ruled an incomplete pass but was overturned after an official review.

Barkley scores twice on runs of 70+ yards

Barkley opened the third quarter with a stunning 70-yard touchdown run. The running back found a gap between the center and right guard, capitalized on a key block by Britain Covey, and sprinted into the end zone. According to the NFL’s Next Gen Stats, the Penn State alum reached a top speed of 21.38 miles per hour on a play initially projected to gain just four yards.

Los Angeles responded with a touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford (24/36, 243 yards, 2 TDs) to Demarcus Robinson. However, Philadelphia continued to dominate on the ground, regardless of the ball carrier, adding another touchdown with a 13-yard run by Kenneth Gainwell.

Sean McVay sent out the special teams for a 47-yard field goal attempt by Jake Karty, but the kick sailed wide right. Nick Sirianni’s Eagles extended their lead when Elliott nailed a 26-yard field goal.

As the Eagles looked to run out the clock, Barkley broke through a massive gap in the line for a 72-yard touchdown run, further widening the lead. The extra point made it 37-14. The Rams added a late touchdown with Stafford connecting to Cooper Kupp but failed the two-point conversion and couldn’t recover the ensuing onside kick.
