Jalen Hurts and his Philadelphia Eagles denied Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs a three-peat, running out 44-20 winners in Super Bowl LIX to defeat the reigning champions and take the Vince Lombardi Trophy back to Philly.

This Super Bowl marks the second Championship for the Eagles, having previously won just one Super Bowl, in 2018, when they won Super Bowl LII.

Eagles win first Super Bowl

The Eagles won Super Bowl LII, beating the favoured New England Patriots 41-33. The Eagles’ second-string quarterback Nick Foles was named MVP, while the Pats’ legendary Tom Brady recorded his third loss at a Super Bowl.
