Jerry Jones promises Taylor Swift an “elaborate seat” at the Cowboys-Chiefs game

As it turns out, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is a Swiftie, and he’s extended a warm invitation to Taylor Swift to their Thanksgiving game against the Chiefs.

Update:

Taylor Swift may not be a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, but the Dallas Cowboys are fans of her. Or at least, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is. In fact, he claims to be her “biggest fan”, and is hoping she’ll attend the game at AT&T Stadium on Thanksgiving Day.

Jerry Jones welcomes Taylor Swift to Cowboys’ stadium

Taylor Swift, who just dropped her 12th studio album on Friday, has attended several Kansas City Chiefs’ games over the last few years since she and tight end Travis Kelce started dating. Although she attends the home games more frequently than away, Jones said he would roll out the red carpet for her at AT&T Stadium on Thanksgiving when the Cowboys face the Chiefs.

“We would have an elaborate seat for her if she should attend the game,” Jones said in an interview on 105.3 The Fan. “There’s nobody a bigger fan of Taylor Swift than I am.”

While Swift’s attendance at NFL games has received backlash from some for how much she’s shown on camera, many others are thankful for the attention she’s brought to the game. Jones is on the side favoring Swift’s presence, saying, “I can’t get enough Taylor Swift.”

While Jones would love her presence on Thanksgiving, the 1-2-1 Cowboys need their defense to improve before facing Patrick Mahomes, Kelce, and the Chiefs’ high-powered offense. Otherwise, Jones may be left dreading the holiday matchup - superstar guest or not.

The Cowboys-Chiefs Thanksgiving game kicks off on Thursday, November 27 at 4:30 p.m. ET.
