Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is making headlines on and off the field as he got engaged to famous singer Madison Beer.
Justin Herbert and Madison Beer get engaged: Who is the Los Angeles Chargers quarterback’s fiancée?
Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is famously private about his personal life, but he has revealed to fans that he is now engaged to famous pop star Madison Beer.
Most NFL fans know Justin Herbert. He’s the Chargers’ starting quarterback and is known for his strong arm and physicality. “First of all, the guy’s a specimen,” Chargers Assistant GM Chad Alexander said. “I mean, he’s huge physically and, you know, really tough mentally, really tough physically.”
Since he was drafted in 2020, Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert quickly rose to NFL stardom with his talent and impressive stats. He is now the face of the team and looks to be there for a while after his recent multi-year contract extension.
Who is Madison Beer?
Madison Beer is a singer who got her start at a young age. She was discovered by Justin Bieber when she was just 13 years old and released a debut single titled “Melodies” in 2013. By 2021, she released her first studio album, “Life Support”. She released her second album, “Silence Behind Songs”, in 2023, which was nominated for Best Immersive Audio Album at the Grammys. The following year, her single, “Make You Mine”, was nominated for Best Pop Dance Recording.
Before the engagement, the couple made several appearances together at Lakers and Dodgers games pretty much confirming their relationship before it was made official.
Beer was also spotted at a Chargers game way back in December 2024, but no one made any assumptions back then because they had no reason to think she and Herbert would be dating. Now, however, fans will definitely be on the lookout to see if they spot her at Chargers games.
Herbert led the Charges to a strong 2025 season and Beer released her anticipated third studio album last year.
Back in April 2025, Beer spoke about relationships in an interview with Cosmopolitan. She opened up on the difficulty of being able to trust another person enough to get close to them. So if she is with Herbert, it’s a big deal.
“I love people. I meet someone, I love them,” she said. “I’m like, ‘Okay, I’m never letting you go. You’ll be with me forever until you hurt me.’ That’s the deal. I think I also, because I have such a weird life and never feel safe and comfortable with someone, when I cross that line of ‘you’re my boyfriend,’ it feels really big.”
