Chief QB Patrick Mahomes, whose wife is big buddies with Swift, was asked about it during Media Day last week and explained why Swifties might be disappointed.

“As long as Trav’s playing and we’re in the Super Bowl, it’s going to be hard for her to do the halftime show,” he told reporters. “So hopefully Trav keeps playing and we keep making it to the Super Bowl.”

So no Taylor Swift on stage at Super Bowl LIX but she’s sure to be there in New Orleans, cheering her Chiefs and boyfriend Travis on to make history.
