As we count down the weeks until the 2025 NFL regular season, we’ve got more preseason games to keep us entertained, and Week 2 starts tonight!

We are now just three weeks away from the 2025 NFL regular season, when the reigning Super Bowl victors Philadelphia Eagles will host their NFC East foes Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field.
NFL Preseason Week 2: Friday, August 15
Until then, the NFL preseason continues in Week 2, starting tonight, Friday, August 15. Week 1 gave us several exciting rookie debuts including Browns QB Shedeur Sanders, Jaguars WR/CB Travis Hunter, and Titans QB Cam Ward. We also saw Bengals QB Joe Burrow disappointed by his own two-touchdown performance.

Preseason Week 2 begins with two games on Friday, both of which will be broadcast live on NFL Network or streamed on NFL+ for subscribers:
- Tennessee Titans vs Atlanta Falcons - 7:00 p.m. ET (NFL Network)
- Kansas City Chiefs at Seattle Seahawks – 10:00 p.m. ET (NFL Network, NFL+)
Titans vs Falcons
Last week, the Titans debuted rookie quarterback Cam Ward, who was one of the bright spots in their 29-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Other rookies to watch include tight end Gunnar Helm, who looked good in his debut, and running back Kalel Mullings, who’s looking for a spot behind Tony Pollard.
Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. will not play in Week 2. Backup Easton Stick was sharp in the opener (15-of-18 completions, 149 yards, 1 TD) and could strengthen his case to make Kirk Cousins tradeable if he repeats that form. Cousins’ playing status is uncertain.
Chiefs @ Seahawks
Chiefs WR Tyquan Thornton and TE Robert Tonyan are both pushing for roster spots after slow recent years. Thornton has been syncing well with Patrick Mahomes, and Tonyan is looking to prove he can still be a red-zone threat.
Seahawks rookie WR Tory Horton impressed in his debut and has earned some first-team reps. QB Jalen Milroe rebounded from a slow start last week with improved passing and a big 27-yard run. Both are being evaluated for regular-season roles.
The preseason continues with 11 more games on Saturday, two on Sunday, and one on Monday night. Next week will be the final week of preseason games before taking a week off ahead of the regular-season opener on Thursday, September 4.
