NFL preseason games today: Who’s playing on Sunday, Aug. 17 and how to watch on TV and stream online

The Green Bay Packers posted their second win of the preseason, defeating the Colts 23-19 in Saturday’s Week 2 games. Super Bowl champions the Eagles crashed to their first defeat with rookie QB Dillon Gabriel finally making his debut with the Cleveland Browns. Gabriel completed 13-of-18 pass attempts, finishing with 143 yards, an interception and a lost fumble.

Dallas dealt blow

The Cowboys also went 2-0 up but lost Jonathan Mingo, who is feared to have suffered damage to the posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.

The action continues today, at a more leisurely pace - just two games. The Jacksonville Jaguars (0-1) are guests of the New Orleans Saints (0-1) at the Caesars Superdome with both teams looking to rebound following last week’s respective defeats to the Steelers and the Chargers.

Rounding off the day’s events, the Bills meet Bears at Soldier Field with Caleb Williams set to make his first appearance of the preseason. Both teams are looking for their first win - Chicago tied the Dolphins 23-23 in their first outing while Buffalo crashed 34-25 to the Giants.

Jaguars vs Saints will be broadcast live on NFL Network. Today’s other game will be aired by local broadcasters in their home markets - both will be available to stream on NFL+.
