NFL top earners revealed: You won’t believe how much money these quarterbacks made during their careers
The NFL is a big money business and it’s best players are brining in some big bucks. Quarterbacks are the top paid players, and the contracts keep growing.

Each and every year the NFL’s best players are raising the bar both on the field and off the field. The numbers are growing exponentially from year to year, and it should come as no surprise the highest paid players in the league are quarterbacks.
NFL’s highest earners ever
Dak Prescott got a big money contract before last season that made him the highest paid player in NFL history. Jerry Jones made his franchise quarterback the richest player in the league despite not having much success in the playoffs since entering the league. He’s just 2-5 in the postseason and has never come close leading his team to the Super Bowl. Despite that, he’s still reeling in $60,000,000 a year.

🏈Dak Prescott: $60M
🏈Joe Burrow: $55M
🏈Jordan Love: $55M
🏈Trevor Lawrence: $55M
🏈Tua Tagovailoa: $53.1M
🏈Jared Goff: $53M
🏈Justin Herbert: $52.5M
🏈Lamar Jackson: $52M
🏈Jalen Hurts: $51M
That’s the richest contract for this year, but when we are talking about all time earners, then you have to look at Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers, who is in his first year in Pittsburgh, signed a one-year $13.6 million deal. That puts him at the top of the career earnings list in the NFL with a total of $380,600,000. He’s a four time MVP and looking to win his second Super Bowl in what could be his last season before retiring.
The GOAT comes in third on rich list
Matthew Stafford is second on the list at $364,300,000. He’s got a Super Bowl, but unlike Rodgers, he’s never won an MVP. He got some big money deals with the Detroit Lions, but his title glory came when he made the change to the LA Rams.
Then there’s the GOAT. Tom Brady made a total of $332,900,000 while becoming the winningest quarterback in NFL history. He has more Super Bowls than any one franchise in the league and if he was still in his prime today there is no doubt he’d be the top paid player in the league.

Russell Wilson is the fourth on the list at $305,300,000 total and Matt Ryan rounds out the top five at $303,700,000. He and 6th placed Kirk Cousins are the only QBs on the list that don’t have a Super Bowl title.
After Cousins comes Drew Brees, then Ben Rothlisberger, and the Manning brothers are 9th and 10th on the list. The way the NFL is going these days this list is going to change awfully quickly. Dak is going to be one of the top earners in history, so too will Joe Burrow and Jordan Love.
