Not everyone reacted the same way to the moment of quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ injury during his regular season debut with the New York Jets on the first Monday Night Football of 2023.

More from the NFL:

Free beer for all if Rodgers’ Jets lose

It was confirmed that Rodgers suffered an Achilles tendon rupture after being tackled by defensive end Leonard Floyd of the Bills and falling awkwardly during the first offensive series of the game.

The newly arrived quarterback from the Green Bay Packers had a genuine nightmare of a start, leaving NFL fans stunned. However, some fans are possibly still unhappy with Rodgers’ departure from his former team.

The CBS television network chose to broadcast a live link from a bar in Milwaukee, Jack’s American Pub, where there was a unique promotion. If the Jets lost the game in which Rodgers was the starting quarterback, the bar would cover the tab for everyone’s drinks.

At the moment when Rodgers got injured, there was laughter and amusement at the thought of everyone receiving free drinks, but instant karma then arrived.

Zach Wilson and the Jets managed to overcome adversity and secured a victory over the Bills. Shortly thereafter, the attendees’ expressions changed completely as they realized they did indeed have to pay for their consumption. They were compelled to settle the bills they had accrued over nearly four hours.
