Dallas Cowboys 17-26 Philadelphia Eagles summary: Eagles undefeated, score, stats, highlights | NFL Week 6
Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles LIVE
GAME SUMMARY: Eagles remain undefeated after victory over Cowboys
The Eagles dominated the first half with two touchdowns by Sanders and Brown and two field goals before allowing Dallas any points at all. When Dallas did finally get some numbers on the score board, it was a measly 3 on a field goal kick just before halftime to make it 20-3 going into the half.
The Cowboys came to life in the second half, scoring two touchdowns, one by Elliott and one by Ferguson, and a field goal to come within 3 points of the Eagles. They never got that close again though as the Eagles defense held them off and the offense continued to score. Another touchdown on a pass to DeVonta Smith put the Eagles up 26-17 after they failed to get the 2-point conversion attempt.
The Dallas turnovers really messed things up for them as the Eagles were able to score on every single turnover. Before this game, Cowboys QB Cooper Rush had not thrown a single interception. Tonight, he threw three.
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts finished with 155 yards and two touchdowns.

Game on!
The Eagles have won the toss and elected to defer, Dallas will start us off on offense. It's SNF game time!
Elliott vs Pollard
There's not really any one player on the Cowboys' offense who stands out right now, but running backs Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard are the ones people are talking about.
Elliott is quite clearly not the RB he used to be and though he's still seeing more targets, he's not doing much with them. Pollard, on the other hand, is outperforming Elliott with 81 carries to Elliott's 44. The only area Elliott is doing better in is rushing attempts, and yet he has just 57 yards on the ground.
Going into this game, Elliott has 305 yards and one touchdown and Pollard has 248 yards and two touchdowns. Alas, it's Elliott who has the big contract and it's likely Elliott who will continue to see more targets. Thus is the Cowboys under Jerry Jones.
Can Jalen Hurts finally beat the Cowboys?
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts does not have a good history playing against Dallas. He is 0-2 against the Dallas Cowboys as Philly's starter and both starts were lost by a whopping 20 points.
Hurts completed only 58.9% of his throws, got the majority of his 300+ passing yards in garbage time. He's had just three touchdowns to four interceptions. He does not bode well against the Dallas defense with five sacks, two fumbles, one for a turnover, and has just 104 yards on 18 carries and no touchdowns on the ground.
Dallas' defense has only gotten better. Has Hurts gotten better against them? We'll find out soon.
The calm before the storm of haters
The Eagles fans are rowdy. It will be loud tonight. They hate the Cowboys more than they love the Eagles!

At 5-0, the Philadelphia Eagles are now the only undefeated team left in the league. The Cowboys won't be a walk in the park for the Eagles. They have so far played relatively easy teams to take them atop the NFC East charts. Can Dallas break their streak?
The rivalry continues...
Cowboys vs Eagles: Sunday Night Football Preview
Tonight on Sunday Night Football, we have an NFC East battle between the undefeated Eagles and the 4-1 Cowboys. Dallas will be looking to keep their four-game winning streak alive with backup quarterback Cooper Rush while the Eagles will look to keep their hottest start since 2004 going.
Leading the Eagles is quarterback Jalen Hurts, who has played seven career games with two or more rushing touchdowns, tied for second-most by a QB in NFL history. In the past five games, he’s had 12 touchdowns, including eight rushing. The Eagles are a dual threat because their defense is also dominant. Defensive end Brandon Graham has had 14 tackles, seven solo and three for a loss, three sacks, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble. The Eagles are sixth in pass rush win rate and the Cowboys o-line is last in pass block win rate. They can stop the run and rush the passer and will be looking to hand Cooper Rush his first interception.
The Cowboys offense was just one big concern going into the season and even more so when starting quarterback Dak Prescott broke his thumb in the season opener against the Buccaneers. Over the last four games, however, they’ve managed just fine without him, with backup Cooper Rush leading them to four wins and keeping them in playoff contention. This will be a bigger challenge than their previous opponents, though. They face a tough Eagles team in their territory. The best thing Dallas has going for it is its defense. Part of the reason Rush hasn’t had to work that hard is just because the defense is doing the brunt of the work. They lead the league in pressure rate and blitz strategically, and Micah Parsons, Demarcus Lawrence, and Dorance Armstrong will be putting the pressure on Hurts tonight.
It will be an all-out brawl tonight as these two NFC East rivals duke it out.
