Update:

The NFL Pro Bowl Games comes to its conclusion today with the 7x7 flag football game. In the second quarter, the NFC, coached by Eli Manning is dominating the AFC, coached by Peyton Manning.

The LSU standouts in the 2025 Pro Bowl

There have been several former LSU Tigers who have stood out during this flag football game, including rookies Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. plus NFL stars Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Justin Jefferson.

Chase scored the first touchdown for the AFC on their first drive of the game, and it was on a pass from former LSU teammate Burrow. Chase also stood out in the skills competition with three one-handed catches.

On the following drive, former LSU wide receiver and current New York Giants rookie Nabers notched a touchdown reception for the NFC, followed by an impressive hurdle into the tug-of-war foam pit.

Towards the end of the second quarter, Brian Thomas Jr. caught a pass in the end zone from Russell Wilson for an AFC touchdown, joining his LSU teammates in making an impact in the flag football game. Shortly after, Jefferson caught a short pass from Sam Darnold in the end zone, outrunning Patrick Surtain II to make the catch for the NFC and become the fourth LSU receiver to score in the first half of the flag football game.

Former LSU quarterback and current Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels was also selected to play in the Pro Bowl Games, but opted out after a late playoff run saw him take his team all the way to the NFC Championship.
