Puka Nacua shoots his shot with Sydney Sweeney only to find competition from Bills return specialist Re’Mah Davis

NFL stars Puka Nacua and Re’Mah Davis very briefly found themselves in a social media skirmish over the affections of Sydney Sweeney after the Hollywood actress revealed what she looks for in a partner during a recent interview.

Parts of Sweeney’s chat with Cosmopolitan were clipped and shared widely online, including her comments about the traits she finds attractive in a potential beau.

What Sydney Sweeney looks for

“Athletic and outgoing and funny,” Sweeney explained. “I’m a sporty girl, so someone needs to be able to climb a mountain with me, go skydiving with me.

“And someone who loves their family. I love myself a man… oh, wow, when you print that, you won’t hear the inflection in my voice.”

Puka Nacua enters the chat

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Nacua was among those who came across Sweeney’s quotes online. He reposted them along with a short, to-the-point comment that quickly caught attention: “Love skydiving.”

A brief Bills cameo

The 24-year-old soon had a fleeting challenger for Sweeney’s attention, albeit only briefly. Buffalo Bills running back Davis also reposted the actress’ quotes, adding, “I can probly add skydiving to my bucket list.”

The post, though, did not last long. Davis quickly decided skydiving wasn’t for him and deleted it, with the reason remaining unclear.

The skydiving joke continues

In a subsequent interview, Nacua was asked by a knowing host whether he would like to go skydiving with different celebrities, including LeBron James and Shohei Ohtani. It did not take long for Sweeney’s name to come up.

“Yeh, Sydney Sweeney. I have reservations for us on Wednesday actually,” he joked.

For what it is worth, the “Euphoria” star is reportedly now in a serious relationship with Scooter Braun, who discovered and managed music superstars Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.

Nacua, meanwhile, has a young son, born in October last year, with ex-girlfriend Hallie Aiono.
