When the teams meet on Thursday night, it will be in less-than-ideal circumstances where their respective rosters are concerned. Who comes out on top, may be as much a matter of player health, than tactics.

Cardinals vs Saints will be injury plagued

If one thing is clear about the Arizona Cardinals’ game against the New Orleans Saints, it’s that injuries are going to play a major role in how the game goes. With many starters set to be sidelined and a few others still listed as questionable; it’s going to be quite a challenge for both sides to field a decent team. With that said, the final injury report is now available, so let’s take a look.

Will the Cardinals’ James Conner & Saints’ Michael Thomas play?

Though there are several players who have been ruled out such as WR Marquise Brown, LB Dennis Gardeck, RB Darrel Williams and Ol Justin Pugh, who is out for the rest of the year, the semi-good news is that RB James Conner has been listed as a Thursday decision. It’s worth noting, however, that he did not practice this week. On the other side of the divide, the Saints are similarly depleted due to injuries, but the major concern has been about whether or not wide receiver Michael Thomas would play. Unfortunately, the injury report has now confirmed that New Orleans’ wideout won’t play on Thursday night, having been rule out with a foot injury.
