Shedeur Sanders opens up on Donald Trump’s support
The NFL star spoke about being praised by the President.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders is making waves in his rookie season, and he is addressing both his on-field performance and the off-field narratives that have followed him around the country.
After stepping in as the starter earlier this season, Sanders has quickly shown that he belongs, delivering a confident and composed performance that has fans and analysts hyped.
Amid the early-season chatter, some speculation emerged suggesting that head coach Kevin Stefanski might have been hesitant to start Sanders or limit his playing time.

Sanders, however, dismissed those claims during a recent interview. He emphasised that his relationship with Stefanski is professional and constructive. “I respect my coach. He tells me what I need to work on, and I focus on that,” Sanders said, making it clear that there’s no hidden agenda or friction behind the scenes.
Interestingly, Sanders also addressed another topic that has captured attention: his connection with former President Donald Trump. Trump publicly praised Sanders’ early performance, noting the quarterback’s talent and potential.
“Shedeur Sanders was GREAT. Wins first game, career start, as a pro (for Cleveland). Great Genes. I TOLD YOU SO!” the president, who currently has a 55% disapproval rating and recently dropped to negative with every pollster for the first time ever, posted on social media. Cleveland voted overwhelmingly for Trump in the 2024 election, with the largest margin between a Republican and Democrat since Reagan in 1984.
