With the new NFL season right around the corner, fans are eagerly preparing for the action to restart. During the off-season, things have not been quiet, with plenty of player and franchise drama keeping us all on our toes.

Players have switched teams and signed new deals keeping them tied to their current sides, meaning that the new campaign in the United States has more intrigue than ever. Can anyone stop the Chiefs? Is Taylor Swift really their new offensive coordinator? Will Tom Brady be allowed to breathe without the watchful eye of the NFL sanctioning the potential new Raiders owner?

With all these questions in mind, we brushed the dust off the AS USA supercomputer and crunched the numbers on the various rosters. Here’s what we found...

Which NFL team has the oldest average age?

The Miami Dolphins are, without a doubt, the oldest roster in the NFL. An average age of 27.3 comes with having Calais Campbell, who turns 38 this month, on the roster instead of 28-year-old Christian Wilkins. 33-year-old Jordan Poyer is also there, as is 31-year-old Marcus Maye, but Tua Tagovailoa (26), wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (25), Jaelan Phillips (25), and safety Jevon Holland (24) even things out slightly.

Just in front (or behind) them are the 49ers (26.98) and Vikings (27.15).

Which NFL team has the youngest average age?

With just a single name over 30-year-old, the Packers are, once again, the NFL’s youngest side. An average of 24.96 puts them top of the pile and they sit ahead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are second with an average age of 25.45.
