These are the Chiefs games Taylor Swift will likely attend in the 2025 season

Wondering if Taylor Swift will make it to the next Kansas City Chiefs game? We’ve speculated on all the matchups she’s likely to attend this season.

Update:

Taylor Swift did not attend Travis Kelce’s first game of the season in 2025. We obviously know there’s no trouble in paradise since the happy couple just got engaged, so what gives? There were rumors that her presence was expected and that security was even preparing for it.

Well, that Kansas City Chiefs game took place in São Paulo, Brazil. And while Swift does indeed have a private jet she could use to hop around the world and see her boyfriend play, it simply wasn’t worth the effort and cost just to go and watch the game, and then come back. It was a quick trip for the team with no partners traveling, making it impractical for Swift to join (to the clear disappointment of the Brazilian NFL fans).

On top of that, Swift is busy preparing for her upcoming album “The Life of a Showgirl”, set to release next month. Security concerns also reportedly make her less likely to attend away games in general, with sources noting she feels more comfortable at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium. In fact, the only away game she attended last season was the Super Bowl.

With that in mind, let’s speculate on the games she might attend this season.

All the Chiefs games and which ones Taylor Swift is likely to attend

This NFL season marks the third since Swift and Kelce started dating and the first during which she’s not also on tour. It also happens to be the first season Swift and Kelce can call each other fiancée after the couple recently announced their engagement.

She’s been a consistent presence at Chiefs games for the last two seasons, but is expected to attend even more this season as their relationship grows even deeper and as she has a little more free time while she’s not touring. So, while we don’t know anything for sure yet, here’s how things could play out this season.

Week 2 - Sunday, Sept. 14: Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles (Arrowhead Stadium) - YES

Swift is very likely to be at this game. It’s the home opener, it’s at Arrowhead so security won’t be an issue, and it’s a Super Bowl rematch of the heartbreaking loss the Chiefs suffered back in February.

Week 3 - Sunday, Sept. 21: Chiefs vs. New York Giants (MetLife Stadium) - NO

Not only is it an away game, but there is speculation that her good friend, artist Selena Gomez, could have her wedding to Benny Blanco that weekend, which Swift wouldn’t miss.

Week 4 - Sunday, Sept. 28: Chiefs vs. Baltimore Ravens (Arrowhead Stadium) - YES

A chance to make a public appearance and get people talking just days before the release of her new album? She won’t miss it.

Week 5 - Monday, Oct. 6: Chiefs vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (Everbank Stadium) - NO

It’s an away game that may not be worth the security risk.

Week 6 - Sunday, Oct. 12: Chiefs vs. Detroit Lions (Arrowhead Stadium) - YES

Things will have settled down (a little) after her album release and it’s a home game. I expect her to attend.

Week 7 - Sunday, Oct. 19: Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders (Arrowhead Stadium) - YES

Rumors have swirled that Taylor Swift might choose a Las Vegas residency instead of taking "The Life of a Showgirl" on tour. While The Sphere has publicly denied those whispers, fans can’t help but wonder what if there’s some truth to them? If so, her upcoming appearance at a Chiefs home game could be the perfect moment to drop such a blockbuster announcement.

Week 8 - Monday, Oct. 27: Chiefs vs. Washington Commanders (Arrowhead Stadium) - YES

It’s another home game and so far, we have no reason to think Swift won’t attend.

Week 9 - Sunday, Nov. 2: Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills (Highmark Stadium) - YES

This will depend on whether or not Swift decides she’ll attend any away games, but if she does, an AFC rivalry game would be a good one to start.

Week 11 - Sunday, Nov. 16: Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos (Empower Field at Mile High) - NO

After the release of her album in the previous month, Swift’s own schedule will start ramping up around this time. As it’s an away game, don’t expect to see her in the suite.

Week 12 - Sunday, Nov. 23: Chiefs vs. Indianapolis Colts (Arrowhead Stadium) - YES

A home game is a home game. She should be there.

Week 13 - Thursday, Nov. 27: Chiefs vs. Dallas Cowboys (AT&T Stadium) - YES

It’s an away game, but it’s Thanksgiving! Swift and Kelce should spend it together for the first time as an engaged couple, even if it is during a game in Dallas.

Week 14 - Sunday, Dec. 7: Chiefs vs. Houston Texans (Arrowhead Stadium) - YES

It’s another home game that Swift is likely to attend.

Week 15 - Sunday, Dec. 14: Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers (Arrowhead Stadium) - YES

Swift may bless fans with three game appearances in a row.

Week 16 - Sunday, Dec. 21: Chiefs vs. Tennessee Titans (Nissan Stadium) - NO

She’ll be saving her energy for the Christmas game four days later.

Week 17 - Thursday, Dec. 25: Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos (Arrowhead Stadium) - YES

The regular season finishes up with a Christmas game against the Broncos at home. Swift’s presence will be her present to us all. Merry Christmas!
