Tom Brady retires from American Football
Gronkowski had a funny message for Brady...
Rob Gronkowski and Brady are long-time pals and teammates. Now that they're both actually retired, they will work together again at Fox Sports.
Brady through the years!
Is it me or did Tom Brady seems more slimmer now than when he started?
Harry Kane wishes Tom all the best
As the post suggests, game recognizes game. Kane has met Tom, so it's no surprise he will wish him all the best. Brady is known to like soccer, being David Beckham a good friend of his, and there is speculation out there that Brady came back from retirement last year after meeting another GOAT, Cristiano Ronaldo.
The two of them spoke and curiously the next day Brady announced that he was back.
Gisele wishes Tom the best on his next chapter
The Brazilian model took the time to wish her ex-husband all the best on his next chapter in life. Maybe the relationship is not so broken.
Barely anyone has bad words for Tom
Ex-teammate Darius Butler explains why Tom is such a good guy to have in the locker room. He might not be flashy but he is a leader at all cost. Even reducing his wage in order for his team to sign better players and not get hit with a cap.
All the info on Tom Brady’s deal with FOX to be a sports analyst. The deal doesn’t specify when he will start or of he will just stick to football or maybe we’ll see him commenting about other sports.
Maybe basketball? Wouldn’t be that bad if he talks about another GOAT LeBron James.
For Skip Bayless Tom Brady is underrated
For the analyst Tom Brady is not a showman. There is not one play that people remember as a phenomenal one. Tom Brady is not flashy, he has great numbers but not a QB for the eye.
What do you guys think?
Was this kiss to his mom and dad the signal of his retirement?
In his last game Tom Brady made sure to kiss his dad and mom one more time as if to signal that this was the end of 23 years of pro football.
Tom Brady and the Bucs
Tom will forever be a Patriot but he has earned a little piece of love by Bucs fans!
Let’s look at what Tom Brady has earned in these last 23 seasons.
Shannon Sharpe also comments on Tom Brady
NFL legend and now turned TV personality, specially after fighting court side during NBA games, Shannon Sharpe, also wanted to weight in who he thinks is the GOAT.
Stephen A. Smith speaks about how Tom Brady will be remembered
How do you guys think Tom Brady will be remembered as? Is he your GOAT?
What attributes does a GOAT need to have? Is is just sporting ability or is it also the person outside the field?
199th pick! Scouts aren’t always right
Not always do scouts get it right. With Tom Brady they definitely dropped the ball. The best QB in NFL history and almost didn’t make it because he didn’t look the part. Kinda reminds me of Drew Brees who they also were not too sure about because of small hands and his height.
Thanks for proving he system wrong Tom.
Brady's mega-bucks TV deal with FOX Sports is estimated at $375 million over 10 years, with the deal kicking in now presumably next season. Fox's CEO Lachlan Murdoch said back in May last year that Brady would join the company as their lead analyst once his playing career was over.
At $37.5 million a season, Brady's contract is worth more than the vast majority of NFL players. Eagles' quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is in the Super Bowl on 12 February is only on $4.8 million in his third season. His rival QB in the end of season finale, Patrick Mahomes, is on more than Brady will make per season though, at $46 million.
Check out all the stats on the seven Super Bowls Brady won in his storied career.
Here's how the news broke that Brady is retiring.
No reaction as yet from Gisele Bundchen
Tom Brady's ex-wife Gisele Bundchen has, so far, not reacted to the news her former husband is retiring from the NFL. His decision to un-retire in the off-season last year was widely rumoured to have led, at least in part, to the couple's decision to separate.
Rather melancholically, Bundchen's last tweet is from back in September 2022, urging on her then husband and his team: "Let's go @TomBrady! Let's go Bucs!" The couple would announce their divorce just over a month later.
Brady's final walk off
After 23 seasons, 7x Super Bowl Champion, 5x Super Bowl MVP, 3x League MVP, 89,214 regular season passing yards, 649 regular season TDs, 13,400 playoff passing yards and 88 playoff TDs, Brady is leaving.
Bucs say thank you
Bucs are going with a simple #ThankYouTom as their pinned tweet to show their gratitude to the man who came in in 2020 and led them in his first season to Super Bowl success, beating the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 for only the second title in the franchise's history. What a story. (The Bucs first Super Bowl came in 2002 against the Oakland Raiders, 48-21)
Brady's records are... numerous. And his Super Bowl stats are simply peerless: nobody is close to his Super Bowl wins and appearances, of course. He made 10 appearances in the NFL's showcase game and won it seven times, six with the New England Patriots and one with his current (now ex-current) team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He also won five Super Bowl MVP awards, became the oldest to win it, at 43 years and 188 days (beating himself in 2018 at 41 and 184 days).
Check out more of Brady's Super Bowl records.
The internet, of course, has gone absolutely wild with the news that Brady has hung up his boots again. Jennifer Bubel takes a look.
Brady retires
Tom Brady, the most successful quarterback of all time, has announced he is retiring from American Football after 23 seasons at the age of 45.
This is, of course, not the first time Brady has retired. He hung up his boots back in February 2022, before then deciding to go for another season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That decision, which ended in the playoffs with defeat to the Dallas Cowboys was also widely rumoured to be one of the main causes behind his marriage to super model Gisele Bündchen coming to an end.
Brady won't be short of projects however in his life after football, with a $365 million 10-year TV contract with FOX lined up, as well as his clothing brand and other sponsorship opportunities.
