Tom Brady called time on a successful career in the NFL after clinching seven Super Bowl titles with both the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And following his retirement from the game, the former quarterback disclosed that he had reached an agreement with Fox Sports to become an analyst for game broadcasts.

Brady recently roasted:

Which NFL game does Tom Brady start with?

With the official announcement of the opening day schedule not having been made yet – expect that on Wednesday 15 May – it has been confirmed that Brady will make his first appearance in Week 1, in the game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Browns, which is set to take place on 8 September. Given that the now 46-year-old only ever played for the Patriots and Bucs, it’ll be interesting to see how long he is kept away from games featuring those teams.

The opening clash of the season will see the reigning champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, against the Baltimore Ravens.

Brady has been the subject of speculation regarding a possible return to action, especially after he himself indicated that if approached, he would seriously consider it. For the time being though, it’ll be those tuning in to his broadcasts that get his insights on the games taking place.
