Tyreek Hill drops social media hint after Chargers make Mike McDaniel their offensive coordinator
The Miami Dolphins wide receiver is still recovering from a season ending injury, but Tyreek Hill could be pondering an exit from South Beach to LA.

There are still three games to play in the NFL’s postseason, but those teams who are out of contention for the Lombardi Trophy are already starting to build their teams for next year. One of those teams is the Los Angeles Chargers who have a new offensive coordinator, and might have a new wide receiver coming too.
LA bring McDaniel in from Miami
The Chargers named former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel their offensive coordinator on Tuesday after LA let go of Greg Roman shortly following the Chargers getting knocked out of the playoffs. They scored just three points in the Wild Card game against the New England Patriots and it was decided a change was needed in LA.
Mike McDaniels became the first name on the list of teams around the league who needed an offensive coordinator when he was let go from the Dolphins. Now it seems like one of his top weapons in Miami might be pondering a move to LA to reunite with his former head coach.
Mike to the chargers hm

After hearing about McDaniels heading to LA, Tyreek Hill went to X and dropped a cryptic message that led some to believe that he might be interested a reunion in the City of Angels. Hill posted “Mike to the chargers hm,” and now those in LA are crossing their fingers that Hill might team up with McDaniel at Sofi Stadium.
Running up that Hill?
Hill suffered a gruesome injury back in late September against the Jets. He not only tore his ACL but dislocated his knee and missed the rest of the Dolphins season. His return date is not known yet and there were murmurs of him considering retiring, but this post on X would suggest the 31 year old still has some gas in the tank.
After a disappointing end to last season Hill suggested he was tired of the Dolphins underachieving and it seemed like he was leaving Miami in the offseason. Hill’s final press conference after the 2024 season was just him saying “I’m out bro. It was great playing here.” He would eventually come back to the Dolphins but play just four games before getting injured.
McDaniel and Hill joined the Dolphins in the same season, and there were flashes of brilliance as Miami’s offense was briefly a juggernaut in the NFL. Hill had 1,700 yards in his first two seasons under McDaniel before things went south in South Beach back in 2024. Now both player and coach could be looking to reinvent themselves in LA.
