Uber and NFL strike deal for fans to enjoy transportation and food in stadiums
The well-known transportation company has announced a partnership with the NFL to facilitate ride-sharing and food delivery in most of the league’s stadiums.
Uber and the NFL announced a four-year alliance as official partners just a few weeks before the start of the league. As part of the Exclusive NFL Experience, the well-known Californian company will support ride-sharing and food delivery services in most of the league’s stadiums, including several venues outside the United States.
Thanks to the Uber service, in collaboration with the most important American football league in the world, fans who come to experience the matches live will be able to travel immediately both to and from the stadium as well as be free to leave at any moment the client wishes.
In a statement, the NFL explained: “As the kickoff to the 2023 NFL season begins, football fans and game day enthusiasts alike will have access to special deals, limited-edition promotions, and unique integrations with the most fan-favorite food brands from across the country. Plus, with access to top grocery and convenience stores nationwide, fans can order everything they need on-demand to enjoy the game at home.
Molly Spychalski, Global Head of Brand Partnership Marketing at Uber, added: “We know that fans use Uber to get to games and Uber Eats to order gameday favorites when they watch from home, so teaming up with the NFL to make this season even more effortless for fans is a true touchdown.”
In addition,fans will be able to order food and beverages for fast pickup directly from the Uber Eats app without having to leave their seat. Simply schedule your order indicating row and seat number, you will be shown all available merchants you can order from. and the order will be delivered directly to where you are seated, without the need to miss a single second of the action.
The latest venue to join the list of stadiums, arenas and auditoriums that offer this food delivery service is SoFi Stadium. Starting this Thursday, for kickoff of the Los Angeles Chargers, delivery will be available to your location, avoiding waits or the classic lines to buy food and drinks inside the stadium. When the order is ready, you will receive a notification to skip the line and pick it up, so you don’t have to spend time waiting in lines and risk missing any of the action.
