Though they lost their last game, the Bills are probably the most complete package in the NFL right now and their QB Josh Allen is elite. Given that he’s now set to play after an injury scare, expect fireworks on Sunday 13th at Highmark Stadium.
Playing against a Buffalo Bills defense that has allowed 14.75 points per game, the Vikings’ offense is definitely facing a challenge. With that said, the Vikings are most certainly not No. 1 in the NFC North with a record of 7-1 by luck. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. ET at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York and we’ve got the feeling this one is going to be epic.

Expect the Bills to bounce back
As we mentioned before, the Bills are actually coming off a loss in their last game. A close contest that ended 20-17 in favor of the New York Jets, the defeat would surely have left a bitter taste in the mouths of the Bills and their fans given that they were highly favored to come out on top. For his part, QB Josh Allen who was listed as questionable earlier this week, put in a decent shift with 205 passing yards alongside two rushing TDs to the tune of 86 yards. Of course, the Buffalo can rest a little easier knowing that Allen is not set to play on Sunday, which will be central in their effort to get back to winning ways.
Can the Vikings continue to raid?
Incidentally, the Vikings also had their own close call last week, but managed to come out with a 20-17 win over the Washington Commanders. Minnesota’s WR Justin Jefferson was the standout player of the night with seven catches for 115 yards and one TD. It would be safe to assume, that the Vikings will be looking to target him as often as they can on Sunday night, with the kind of numbers he’s been putting up.

With both teams in very similar positions, which is to say leading their respective divisions and playing well, we expect this one to be close. Coming in, the Bills are slight favorites with the odds at 3.5 in their favor, but we’d venture to say the gap is even bigger now that quarterback Josh Allen is set to play. In truth, the Bills are an entirely different prospect when Allen plays. Interestingly, the teams have only met once in the last eight years and Buffalo came out on top. Though that’s the past, we’re banking on the Bills taking the win once again on Sunday and even more so now that their starting QB is back in the lineup.
