Heading into the last weekend of action in the regular season, the Bucs want to secure their place in the playoffs and could fight for the NFC South crown.
As an exhilarating and intriguing NFL regular season reaches its conclusion this weekend, several teams are risking their lives with the pressure on to make it to the playoffs. There are 14 games left to play and a total of 14 teams will advance to the postseason. The eight winners from each division and six wild card teams (three from each conference). The three wild cards of each conference can belong to the same division as long as they finish above the rest of the teams that were not champions of their respective sectors.

In Sunday’s Week 18 program, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will travel to Bank of America Stadium to face their divisional rivals the Carolina Panthers, who are already eliminated from playoff contention.
At the moment, the Bucs remain at the top of the NFC South with an 8-8 record and with a 60% chance of advancing to the playoffs.

What do the Bucs need?
To win the NFC South they need:
- Victory over Carolina Panthers
- Or, a tie against the Panthers + the New Orleans Saints to lose or draw their game against the Atlanta Falcons
To advance to the playoffs they need:
- At least a tie against Panthers + the Seahawks to lose against the Cardinals + the Green Bay Packers to lose or draw against the Bears
