Real Madrid player ratings vs Barcelona: Brahim Díaz stands out in Clasico defeat as Bellingham struggles
Madrid were exposed defensively and lacked control in midfield, with Brahim the only consistent attacking threat at Camp Nou.
Real Madrid were beaten at Camp Nou as Barcelona secured the LaLiga title, with Álvaro Arbeloa’s side offering little response after conceding two early goals. Here is how the players rated individually.
Thibaut Courtois
Beaten at the side of the goal he was covering for Marcus Rashford’s opener, a goal he may feel he should have done better with, and left exposed for Ferran Torres’ second after a sharp backheel from Dani Olmo.
He did respond with several important saves later on, including stopping efforts from Rashford and Ferran when Barcelona were already celebrating. However, he looked short of rhythm throughout and produced a few uncharacteristic errors. In the second half, he prevented the scoreline from getting worse.
Trent Alexander-Arnold
Had an uneven start, with a couple of defensive lapses that could have been punished, but also delivered some dangerous set-piece balls, particularly from corners.
After that, his influence faded significantly. He offered little going forward, although he was not heavily tested defensively.
Raúl Asencio
A late inclusion due to illness in the squad, and his pace helped Madrid recover in transition situations when Barcelona broke forward.
However, he was caught out for the second goal, reacting too slowly after Dani Olmo’s backheel and allowing Ferran Torres to escape his marking too easily. He did show quality on the ball, including a long pass to Gonzalo that nearly led to a goal.

Antonio Rüdiger
Physically struggled when forced to defend in open space and looked short of full sharpness. At times, Asencio had to cover for him in transition.
He was also involved in the second goal sequence, although the brilliance of Olmo’s assist made it difficult to defend.
Fran García
He had a very difficult time against Marcus Rashford, who consistently got the better of him and exposed him repeatedly.
Going forward, he tried to contribute but lacked the quality to break through Barcelona’s defensive structure. It was a frustrating and quiet performance.
Jude Bellingham
A frustrating and error-filled display. He struggled to bring control or continuity to Madrid’s play and lost possession too often in key areas.
He had a chance to set up Vinícius for a potential equaliser but overhit the pass. He also missed a clear opportunity after a heavy touch that should have put him through on goal.
He later found the net, but it was ruled out for offside. Overall, it was a night where nothing seemed to come off for him.
Aurélien Tchouaméni
A steady but unspectacular performance after a difficult build-up to the match. He did not dominate midfield as Madrid would have hoped, though he provided some aerial presence and physical stability.
Eduardo Camavinga
Another inconsistent showing, mixing moments of quality with major lapses in concentration and tactical awareness.
He produced a superb through ball that released Bellingham in one of Madrid’s better moments, but his overall display was erratic. He left the pitch in the 70th minute.

Brahim Díaz
Easily Madrid’s standout performer. He consistently found space between the lines and was the main source of attacking threat in the first half.
He drove counterattacks intelligently and looked the only player capable of unsettling Barcelona’s structure, although his teammates did not always take advantage of his work. He was substituted in the 79th minute.
Gonzalo García
Had a major chance to bring Madrid back into the match shortly after Ferran Torres’ goal but failed to convert. He controlled a long ball well but overcomplicated the finish when a simpler option may have worked.
After that, he faded from the game and had little further involvement before being taken off in the 79th minute.
Vinícius Júnior
Started brightly, taking on defenders and generating early danger, but gradually lost influence as the match progressed.
Vinícius had a good second-half opportunity against Joan García but attempted a chipped finish that the goalkeeper read comfortably. Beyond that, his impact was limited.
Substitutes
Thiago entered in the 70th minute but struggled to influence a match already slipping away from Madrid.
Palacios came on in the 79th minute and had one decent chance but could not make a decisive impact.
Mastantuono was introduced late and had little time to affect the game.
