With Thanksgiving just around the corner, many households in America are already preparing for Christmas - getting the decorations up, making their Black Friday holiday gift shopping lists, and making sure they have the proper subscriptions to watch the NFL Christmas games.

For the first time ever, the NFL’s Christmas Day games will be streamed exclusively on Netflix. The platform will stream the two NFL games for the first, but not the last time as Netflix now has a three-year deal for exclusive NFL Christmas Day game rights.

Here’s everything you need to know about the games and how you can stream them on Netflix.

NFL Christmas Day games and schedule

The Kansas City Chiefs will kick off the Christmas Day games on Wednesday, December 25 with a matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 p.m. ET at Acrisure Stadium, followed by the Baltimore Ravens taking on the Houston Texans at 4:30 p.m. ET at NRG Stadium.

The Ravens and Texans game will feature a special halftime performance by Beyoncé, who is from Houston. She’ll be singing songs from her newest album “Cowboy Carter” live for the first time.

How to watch the NFL Christmas Day games

Both NFL games will be available on Netflix, included in all plans. You will need to create a Netflix account or log on if you already have one in order to watch the games live. In the U.S., the streams will be available for up to three hours after the livestream ends. Outside of the U.S., the games will expire 24 hours after the livestream ends.

In addition to the Netflix streams, the games will be broadcast on local television stations in the markets of both the home and away teams. They will also be available to stream on cell phones with an NFL+ subscription within the NFL mobile app.
