After the 32 NFL teams made their priority selections on Thursday and Friday in the first three rounds, the 2026 NFL Draft wraps up on Saturday, April 25 with Rounds 4 to 7. Day 3 is when teams look to add depth to their roster, all while hoping to unearth a rough diamond.

When does Round 4 of the NFL Draft start?

Round 4 of the NFL Draft is scheduled to begin on Saturday, April 25 at:

  • 12:00 p.m. ET
  • 11:00 a.m. CT
  • 10:00 a.m. MT
  • 9:00 a.m. PT

Round 5 will follow immediately after the conclusion of Round 4, and so on.

Day 3 typically moves faster than the opening two days, with teams having five minutes per pick in Rounds 4 to 6 and only four minutes per pick in Round 7.

Rounds 4-7

While Round 1 inevitably gets most of the attention, history shows that teams have been able to do some seriously good business in the final four rounds.

In recent years, a number of top players have been drafted on Day 3, including Dak Prescott (No. 135), Stefon Diggs (No. 146), George Kittle (No. 146), Maxx Crosby (No. 106), Puka Nacua (No. 177), Bucky Irving (No. 125) and “Mr. Irrelevant” himself, Brock Purdy (No. 262).

Teams across the league will be hoping to find another potential superstar who has gone under the radar or turns out to be a late developer.
