The Kansas City Chiefs are ‘the’ in-form team in the NFL as the side from Arrowhead Stadium remain 12-1 for the season to date and on Sunday will attempt to move a step closer to securing the AFC’s No. 1 seed when they visit the Cleveland Browns in the Week 15 clash.

The Chiefs are gunning to become the first team in NFL history to win three straight Super Bowls and sealed their postseason spot on 29 November, when they defeated the Raiders in Week 13.

The next objective for Andy Reid’s men is to finish the regular season in the AFC top spot and thus, avoid the Wild Card round, in addition to home advantage at every stage before the Super Bowl.

Things are not so rosy for Browns fans with their team eliminated from playoff contention, having managed just three wins all season. Stefanski’s men go into Sunday’s tough test against KC on the back of two defeats, going down to the Denver Broncos and the Steelers in Weeks 13 and 14.

Last Browns win over KC

In recent seasons, the Chiefs have the hoodoo over Cleveland having won five of their last meetings and one needs to go back to 2012 for the last Browns win in the match-up.

On 9 December (2012), in front of 67,000 fans at home, the men from Ohio handed KC a 30-7 defeat with Trent Richardson and Travis Benjamin tormenting the Chiefs defence.

In their 28 meetings, Kansas City have the upper hand over Cleveland with 15 wins to the 11 victories for the Browns. Two games were tied with the Chiefs recording a total of 592 points to the 564 of Cleveland.

When does Chiefs vs Browns kick-off?

The NFL Week 15 game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cleveland Browns takes place on Sunday December 15, 2024, at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland, Ohio. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET/10:00 a.m. PT
