Which artists are in the lineup for the Super Bowl LVIX pregame show?
Artists and musicians have already been confirmed for Super Bowl LVIX which will be played at the Caesars Superdome, home of the Saints.
As the 2024 regular season prepares to enter its critical final few weeks, preparations are already underway for the postseason and the climax, Super Bowl LVIX which will be played at the Caesars Superdome, home of the New Orleans Saints from February 7-17 2025.
Four musicians will be in charge of getting the crowd warmed up for the game in the pregame shows on February 9.
Local artists chosen to perform at Super Bowl LIX
Five-time Grammy winner Jon Batiste will perform the national anthem. The versatile singer-songwriter multi-instrumentalist won an Oscar for his score for the 2022 movie Soul and has recorded and performed with major stars including Stevie Wonder, Prince and Lenny Kravitz.
Batiste and Stay Human were the house band on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert from September 2015 until August 2022.
Last month he released Beethoven Blues - Batiste Piano Series, Vol. 1 - his first ever album of solo piano work.
We will also see a collaboration from contemporary Christian music singer-songwriter Lauren Daigle and jazz virtuoso Trombone Shorty (real name: Troy Andrews) who will perform their version of America the Beautiful.
And last but by no means least, another New Orleans artist - soul songstress Ledisi who brought out her 14th studio album Good Life to critical acclaim earlier this year, will be in charge of delivering the hymn: Lift Every Voice and Sing.
The daughter of 70s soul singer Larry Sauders, Ledisi has been nominated for 13 Grammys, finally winning the Best Traditional R&B Performance award for Anything for You.

The Super Bowl is a rare moment to unite fans around the world, and this year’s performers will bring the energy, soul and vibrant sounds of the region to a global stage, as we kickoff Super Bowl LIX with a celebration to remember.”
Who is headlining the Halftime show at Super Bowl LVIX?
Kendrick Lamar has been confirmed as the main artist to entertain the New Orleans crowd and headline the Apple Music Super Bowl halftime show.
He has appeared before - in 2022 he starred alongside Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Snoop Dogg at Super Bowl LVI.
Super Bowl LIX will air live on Fox, with kickoff scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT.
