Who is singing the national anthem for the Rams vs Bears NFL Divisional playoff game?
In the Divisional Round today, the Chicago Bears are aiming to end a 15-year absence from the NFC Championship Game.

Chicago favorite Jim Cornelison will sing the U.S. national anthem ahead of the Bears’ NFL Divisional Round matchup with the Los Angeles Rams this evening.
Cornelison is a regular feature of major Bears home games. Since 2010, indeed, he has been the go-to anthem singer for the team’s opening clash of the season at Soldier Field. Over the past decade and a half, he has also appeared at almost all Bears playoff games in the Windy City.
Although not on anthem duty at last weekend’s Wild Card win over the Green Bay Packers, Cornelison performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Bears’ previous home playoff game, against the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2018 Wild Card round. What’s more, he sang at Soldier Field before the 2010 postseason encounters against the Seattle Seahawks and the Packers.
“I’m just thrilled”
Speaking on WGN News on Friday, Cornelison said: “I’m just thrilled to be out there again on Sunday. The fans will be so amped up and that energy is palpable.”
The 61-year-old is also well-known in Chicago as the national-anthem singer for the city’s NHL franchise, the Blackhawks. He has now spent 18 years with the six-time Stanley Cup winners, having been appointed as the performer for all Blackhawks home games back in 2008.
Rams vs Bears: time, how to watch
Today’s Divisional playoff clash between the Bears and the Rams kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT. In the U.S., the game will air nationally on NBC. Your streaming options include the online platform fubo, which offers a free trial.

Can Bears end wait for NFC Championship berth?
The Bears are chasing a place in their first NFC Championship Game since 2010, while the Rams last made it to the conference decider in 2021.
The Seahawks await in the NFC Championship on Jan. 25, after inflicting a 41-6 demolition on the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round on Saturday.
Unfortunately for Cornelison, he appears unlikely to be called upon next week should the Bears advance. Chicago wouldn’t have home advantage in the NFC title game: the Seahawks are the conference’s No. 1 seed, so are certain to host the matchup at Seattle’s Lumen Field.
