Who will the Carolina Panthers pick during the first round of the draft? List of favorites
The Panthers have placed themselves in the best position to draft a QB for the future as they acquired the number one overall pick.

It is no shock that the Panthers have made a massive trade with the Chicago Bears to secure themselves in the best possible position, to draft a QB that could be the face of the franchise for years to come.
Unfortunately for Carolina fans, their last years haven’t been great. Ever since their sting in the early 2010s, when they went to the play-offs four consecutive times and once to the Super Bowl, the team has been subpar. Recently they tried their luck with the guy that made it possible once: Cam Newton. Shamefully, the QB failed to cause any impact. Last year, they traded for Baker Mayfield, a once number-one pick, who has become a long-lost idea rather than a reality.
But who will the Carolina Panthers draft with their number one pick?
Most sporting books in vegas and in all other places where it is legal to bet on sports, have the Panthers drafting a QB in the first round; the best positioned is Ohio State, C.J. Strout.
According to Bovada’s list of Las Vegas:
- C.J. Stroud: -325
- Bryce Young: +275
- Anthony Richardson: +400
- Will Levis: +3000
- Will Anderson: +10000
- Jalen Carter: +12500
- Tyree Wilson: +12500
CJ Stroud is reportedly the “QB of choice” for Panthers new head coach Frank Reich.
