Why are Trevon Diggs and pregnant girlfriend Joie Chavis breaking up?
Despite being pregnant with Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs’ child, Joie Chavis has confirmed that the two have in fact decided to part ways.
Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs had been dating Joie Chavis since 2022. 35-year-old Chavis is the founder of Joie In Life, a health and fitness brand. In March, she posted on Instagram, revealing that she was expecting a baby girl, with a photo of herself in a pink dress next to a strawberry cake.
Diggs and Chavis call it quits
Chavis did not mention who the father was, but was still dating Diggs at the time. When the time came for the baby shower just four months later, Chavis posted photos from the event to her social media. Despite having her family and friends present, Diggs was nowhere to be found in the video.
One user decided to bluntly ask the question - are you still together? And Chavis bluntly replied, “No we aren’t. I think that’s obvious.”
Chavis and Diggs both have children of their own already from previous relationships. Chavis has a 13-year-old daughter, Shai, with rapper Bow Wow, and a 5-year-old son, Hendrix, with rapper Future. Diggs has two sons, eight-year-old Aiden and three-year-old Chosen.
Though the reason for their split was not mentioned by Chavis, and Diggs has yet to comment, both are accustomed to co-parenting while navigating their high-profile careers and busy lives. Though her exact due date is not known, Chavis and Diggs’ daughter should be born around sometime next month.
