Will Cam Akers play for the Vikings against the Los Angeles Rams? NFL MNF Wild Card injury report
The Eagles await in the Divisional round, as the Minnesota Vikings take on the LA Rams in Glendale, Arizona, today.

Cam Akers is a selection doubt for the Vikings’ playoff clash with the Los Angeles Rams today, although Minnesota head coach Kevin O’Connell is optimistic that the running back will be fit to play against his former team.
What injury does Cam Akers have?
Akers is listed as questionable on the Vikings’ official injury report, having been unable to take part in Saturday practice due to illness.
“Cam Akers is dealing with a little illness,” O’Connell told reporters on Saturday. “I expect him to be good to go [for the Rams game], but we will list him as questionable after not participating today.”
Who else is on the Vikings’ injury report vs Rams?
Defensive tackle Taki Taimani (ankle) is also questionable for the Vikings, while linebacker Patrick Jones (knee) has been ruled out of today’s game.
Can Vikings end five-year wait for playoff win?
Seeded at No. 5 in the NFC, despite a regular season in which they registered an impressive 14-3 record, the Vikings are bidding to win their first postseason game since they reached the Divisional round in 2019.
The Rams, meanwhile, will be chasing their first postseason victory since they won the Super Bowl in 2021. Seeded at No. 4, Sean McVay’s men clinched the NFC West title this season, with a 10-7 record.
Akers was part of the Rams team that beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI three seasons ago. A second-round Draft pick for Los Angeles in 2020, the former Florida State Seminoles star spent three years with the Californians, before leaving for Minneapolis in September 2023.
