Torri Huske beat world and Olympic record holder Gretchen Walsh in the women's 100m butterfly final as Team USA finished first and second with China's Yufei Zhang taking bronze.
Huske's time of 55:59 was just short of Walsh's Olympic record of 55.38 set in the heats.
Marchand sets new Olympic record!
Five-time world champion Léon Marchand secured a third gold medal for France, moving the hosts up into second on the leaderboard with three golds, two silver and two bronze medals.
Marchand finished ahead of Japan's Tomoyuki Matsushita and Team USA's Carson Foster with a time of 4:02.95 - a new Olympic record in the Men's 400m Individual Medley.
Jess Fox adds more gongs to her Olympic collection
Jess Fox crossed the line first, clocking 96.08 in the women's canoe slalom to extend Australia's lead at the medals board summit.
She finally lands gold after coming close in the previous editions - coming away with silver in London and bronze in both Rio and Tokyo.
Japan add to their tally!
It's the incredibly impressive Coco who takes gold in the skateboarding women's street.

South Korea now have their second gold of the 2024 Games, after Oh Ye-jin took victory in the women's 10m air pistol final. She scored 243.2, which is a new Olympic record.
Silver also went to a South Korean competitor, Kim Ye-ji, while India's Manu Bhaker completes the podium.
Who won Team USA's only gold so far?
ICYMI, Team USA secured their sole gold in Paris thus far in the swimming yesterday, thanks to victory in the men's 4x100m freestyle relay. The US took the gold medal ahead of Australia and Italy.
Team USA currently finds itself third in the medal table, having won one gold, two silvers and two bronzes.
Bidding to top the medal count for the seventh time in the last eight Summer Games, the Americans lead the all-time Summer Olympics medal table. But which sports have witnessed the most US medals?

Australia still top of medal table
Having won their third gold of the 2024 Olympics, China have drawn level with Australia's haul so far.
The Australians remain top of the medal table, though, as they have two silvers to China's none.
Another gold for China
We have the first medal winners of day two! In shooting, China’s Yu Xie has earned his country its third gold of the Paris Games, after taking victory in the men’s 10m air pistol final.
The podium is completed by two Italians: Federico Maldini has taken silver, with Paolo Monna winning bronze.
Italy now have five medals at Paris 2024 - but are yet to claim their first gold.
Australia's trio of wins saw them leapfrog China at the top of the medal, after the Chinese had established themselves as the early frontrunners by claiming the first two golds of the games.
In shooting, Huang Yuting and Sheng Lihao won the first gold medal at Paris 2024 when they were victorious in the final of the mixed team 10m air rifle event.
Soon afterwards, divers Yani Chang and Yiwen Chen won the women’s synchronised 3m springboard final.
Australia top medal table on day one
Australia lead the medal count after day one, having picked up three gold medals.
Two came in swimming: Ariarne Titmus took gold in the women’s 400m freestyle, and there was also Australian glory in the women’s 4x100m freestyle relay. Titmus retained the title she won at Tokyo 2020, while the relay win was Australia's fourth in a row in the event!
In road cycling, meanwhile, Grace Brown was victorious.
Aside from the medal events taking place today, there will of course be plenty of other action at Paris 2024.
