The 2022 PGA Championship is set to begin on Thursday at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma, bringing together the best golf players from around the world.

Woods in, Mickelson out

The event is already making headlines because of defending champion Phil Mickelson’s withdrawal from the competition and the participation of comebacking golf great Tiger Woods.

Chances to see talented golf players swinging their best at Tulsa are getting slim. There are some Grounds Tickets still available for Tuesday and Wednesday if you want the opportunity to catch a glimpse of golf giants preparing for the championship. Tickets range from $25 to $45 dollars, and will let you roam the grounds of Southern Hills.

Spectators will be allowed to bring one unopened bottle of water to the venue, but nothing more. Food, drinks (except those necessary for babies or those with dietary and medical restrictions) and alcoholic beverages may not be brought on-site. There are concession stands throughout the grounds where you can purchase food and beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

2022 PGA Championship tickets running out

You can also buy Championship Tickets, an all-inclusive pass which allows you to obtain food and non-alcoholic beverages from all concession venues throughout the grounds. This ticket costs $195, plus tax and applicable tickets. However, only tickets for the opening round of the contest on Thursday are still available. Championship tickets for Friday to Sunday have already been sold out.

You can still try to buy tickets at secondary markets, although the PGA recommends the use of their official ticket exchange, where passes are available for sale directly from other fans.

If you want to buy a souvenir of your PGA Championship experience, you can check out the merchandise at the PGA Shops which can be found between the Main Spectator Entrance and Practice Range. Sports items will be available, including caps for $29 and shirts starting at $60.

Don’t forget to bring your credit or debit card, as all financial transactions will be cashless, and they won’t allow either cash or check payments.
