2023 NHL Stanley Cup final Panthers vs Golden Knights full schedule: dates and times of all the games

As is always the case, both teams come into the finals on the back of very different fortunes. The Golden Knights almost went to the wire with the Stars in their Western Conference series, as they won 4-2. On the other side of the divide, the Panthers seemingly had a much easier time as they swept the Hurricanes. Now, it’s down to business.

The 2023 NHL Stanley Cup Finals are set

This coming Saturday, June 3rd will see the beginning of the 2023 Stanley Cup Finals and we’ve got the feeling it’s going to be a good one. On one hand, we’ve got the Florida Panthers who it has to be said had a tough road en route to the finals. Consider for a moment that they had to take out the No. 1 ranked Boston Bruins, the Toronto Maple Leafs who were No. 4 and finally the No. 2 ranked Carolina Hurricanes. To be clear the Panthers are making their first appearance in the Stanley Cup Finals since 1996.

Then, on the other we’ve got the Vegas Golden Knights who are back in the Stanley Cup, having appeared as recently as 2018. How did they get here? First, they had to defeat the Winnipeg Jets, followed by the Edmonton Oilers and of course most recently, the Dallas Stars. This is all to say, both teams deserve to be where they are that’s certain, but the roads they traveled to get there are different enough that it definitely makes for an intriguing matchup to say the least. Where their regular season head-to-head is concerned, it stands at 1-1 so there really isn’t much to go on. Incidentally, neither team has ever won a championship, so one way or another were guaranteed a first-time winner.
