2024 Texas Children’s Houston Open: Sunday Final Round tee times and pairings
Stephan Jaeger, a German professional golfer, leads the field at -9 entering round four of the 2024 Texas Children’s Houston Open after a fantastic Round 3.
Tony Finau had a fantastic round on Friday, shooting a record-tying 62 and leading the tournament after round 2. However, on Saturday, he struggled to find his rhythm for a while and finished at T9 after shooting a 70.
On the other hand, Stephan Jaeger, an alumnus of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, had an impressive round of golf on Saturday. He hit some fantastic approaches and exquisite shots, among many playing exceptionally well. Jaeger shot a four-under 66 and is now tied with four other golfers (Detry, Tosti, Skinns, and Scheffler) for the lead in the final round.
Meanwhile, the World No. 1 golfer, Scottie Scheffler, who is a resident of Texas, is standing in the way and looking to make history of his own at the Houston Open. He can win three consecutive PGA Tour events in his first start since winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Players. If he wins, Scheffler will become the first golfer to achieve this feat since Dustin Johnson in 2017.
