It’s a country with a long, somewhat glorious history with the world of golf, and the U.S. rivalry returns for just the second time.

2031 Ryder Cup venue announced: these are the sites where the international golf event will be held in 2025, 2027 and 2029

If you’re already planning your Ryder Cup travel itinerary years in advance (and I definitely am), the wait for knowledge of where the 2031 edition will be has ended. We can say “hola” to the Camiral Resort in Girona, Spain. That’s right – the Ryder Cup is heading back to Spain for the first time in 34 years, and only the fourth time it’s been held on continental European soil.
The 48th edition of the competition will take place on Camiral’s Stadium course, a familiar stop on the DP World Tour and formerly known as PGA Catalunya. It’s a return many have quietly hoped for since the legendary Seve Ballesteros led Europe to a one-point win over the U.S. at Valderrama in 1997 – a moment that cemented his Ryder Cup legacy. Let’s relive that for a second:
But while some of us get excited about the Cup hitting Girona in a few years, here’s where it’s going in the meantime.
Where is the Ryder Cup in 2025, 2027 and 2029?
The U.S. will host this year’s event at Bethpage Black, New York (Sept 26–28, 2025) – a venue known for punishing rough and even more punishing crowds, for the Europeans anyway.
In 2027, it crosses the Atlantic to Adare Manor in County Limerick, Ireland. Then it’s back stateside in 2029 at Hazeltine National in Minnesota, which previously hosted in 2016.
After that, it’s Spain’s turn... and long overdue in my book.
