Every tennis fan dreams of seeing Rafa Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz team up at the Paris Olympic Games. However, whether or not this happens will depend on Nadal’s physical condition, as he is currently working hard to be ready for the next part of the season. Despite this, Rafa’s uncle, Toni Nadal, believes the duo could be strong contenders for a gold medal at the Roland-Garros facilities. In a recent interview, he expressed his opinion that a doubles team comprising Rafa Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz could be one of the best teams in the event. He said they would make a great pair if Rafael were fit enough to play. He also mentioned that it would be interesting to see if Rafael can win gold in either singles or doubles.

Both tennis players have said it. Carlos Alcaraz and Rafa Nadal have said they would be delighted to play doubles together at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. But they have not yet spoken about it. The Murcia’s tennis player revealed it: “I have not spoken with him, but I have heard in some interviews that he would like to play with me.” In an interview in ‘Le Figaro,’ Alcaraz said that it would be an “extraordinary” challenge: “Representing your country at the Games is a dream, therefore winning the gold medal at the Paris Games would be extraordinary and is my goal.” main for 2024″.

Rafael Nadal has participated in three Olympic Games, so far. He won gold in both singles (in 2008) and doubles (in 2016 with Marc López) and was honored to be the Spanish flagbearer at the Opening Ceremony of the 2016 Olympics. On the other hand, Carlo Alcaraz is a younger player who may become Nadal’s doubles partner in the future. Although he is set to make his Olympic debut in Paris, he must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) to compete in the 2024 Olympic tennis tournament. One of the criteria for male tennis players is representing their country in the Davis Cup. Unfortunately, Alcaraz could not compete in any Davis Cup events in 2023 due to his physical condition, as he needed to rest after a busy season. However, he will have more opportunities to meet this criteria in 2024.
