We’re now at the halfway stage of the 65th annual Wrangler National Finals Rodeo which will come to an end on Saturday, December 16th and it’s been a wild ride so far. With that, we’re taking a look at ticket prices for the event and how you can go about getting your hands on them.

What is the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo?

A 10-day event staged by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association with the patronage of Wrangler, the National Finals Rodeo is an exhibition of the talents of the top 15 money winners in the season for each event. Held every year in early December at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, the event is the culmination of the PRCA’s season and quite literally showcases the best talent there is in the business. To be clear, the NFR is the final rodeo event of the season such that it is extremely popular, such that there are even special parties held by Las Vegas casinos and hotels in tandem with the event. This year’s event runs from December 7th - 16th, which is to say if you want tickets, you’ve got to move fast.

OK, so how much are tickets for the National Finals Rodeo?

According to Vivid Seats, the ticket prices for the NFR on Tuesday, December 12th, start at approximately $77, however, if you’d like to get up close and personal, you can expect to pay as much as $730. There are of course private suites available if you’d really like to splash the cash. Either way you cut it, you’re going to want to act quickly as demand is high. Also, be sure to check the NFR’s official website for the list of events and dates.

When Is the National Finals Rodeo?

As mentioned above, the 2023 National Finals Rodeo will take place December 7-16 at Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. Incidentally, the venue is actually on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas which stores and utilizes ‘special dirt’ for the event. There is also a ‘Cowboy Christmas’ - a cowboy gift show which is held simultaneously at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
