Floyd Mayweather will fight in the United Kingdom for the first time when he faces Aaron Chalmers this weekend. The ex-boxer, who hung up his gloves in 2017, continues to increase his win record, though he has only competed in exhibition bouts since his retirement from professional boxing.

Despite leaving competition as a pro, Mayweather continues to make money off the sport, and this will be the case when steps into the ring at the O2 Arena in London. He retired with a 50-0 record, and has been undefeated in the five exhibition matches since then.

Mayweather vs Chalmers purse

The purse for the Mayweather vs. Chalmers showdown has not yet been announced, but a look at past paydays for his exhibition bouts indicate that he is set to receive another paycheck worth millions. He is projected to earn at least $20 million from the fight against the reality TV star.

According to information provided by InsideSport, the American boxer receives one million dollars just for attending press conferences. In the fight against Logan Paul, the figures were striking. He took home a base salary of $10 million, and in addition, he pocketed a profit of 50% of the pay-per-view earnings, which made him obtain huge amounts of money for his participation. Mayweather is estimated to have made $65 million from the fight against the social media star.

The amount that Chalmers will earn from the bout has also not been released, but it will likely be the biggest purse of his fighting career.
