The Masters 2023, one of the first major golf tournaments of the year, is here. The tournament will see the world’s best golfers competing against one another at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, USA. With an impressive prize money pool at stake, here’s everything we know about this year’s tournament.

GOLF:

Unlike most PGA Tour events, only the top 50 players and ties after the first two rounds make the cut and get to play the weekend. All golfers’ purses and prize money will be released over the weekend. In 2022, the total prize money was $15 million, and has been increased this year. The 2023 winner will get $3.24 million!

Along with the prize money, the competition winner will also receive a green jacket. Receiving this jacket is considered one of the highest, most recognizable honors in sports.
