The total prize pot for 2024 is worth $5 million, with $4.8 million going to the professional tournament. The remaining $200,000 prize money is doled out to the winners of the Team Championship, but only the professional golfers will take home the cash.

Last year’s winner was Englishman Matt Fitzpatrick, who finished with a 66 on the final round at Old Course in St. Andrews. He also won the pro-am element of the tournament alongside his mother, Susan. He’ll be competing alongside her again at this year’s event.
