After victory last year in the most-streamed sports event ever, Jake Paul returns to the boxing ring to face another former world title holder, as the influencer-turned-fighter takes on Julio César Chávez Jr.

Paul improved his professional record to 11-1 in November’s matchup with Mike Tyson in Texas, claiming a unanimous-decision win over the one-time undisputed heavyweight champion.

Aired by Netflix, Paul’s showdown with the now 58-year-old Tyson drew 108 million viewers, the streaming giant said.

Who is Julio César Chávez Jr.?

Chávez Jr., who is the son of Mexican boxing legend Julio César Chávez, last fought in July 2024, when he beat former UFC fighter Uriah Hall by unanimous decision.

The 39-year-old, who has a 54-6-1 professional record, held the WBC middleweight world title from June 2011 to September 2012.
