Jake Paul in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics boxing tournament? What did he say?

The social media celebrity and boxer has new challenges ahead of him and the 2028 Summer Games seem to be on his mind.

The social media celebrity and boxer has new challenges ahead of him and the 2028 Summer Games seem to be on his mind.

Jake Paul recently stopped Jake Perry in their boxing fight in another good performance as a professional boxer.

The Cleveland native has now a record of 10-1, with most of his wins coming via knockout. But his most influential and anticipated fight will take place in November if everything goes as expected since the younger of the Paul brothers will take on boxing’s living legend Mike Tyson.

Paul is willing to make history in the sport, and while it’s too soon to predict how his career will progress, he has defeated all of his opponents but Tommy Fury, former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury’s cousin.

Will Jake Paul compete at the 2028 Olympics?

Although it seems Paul has accomplished most of his goals as a social media celebrity and businessman, he wants to make history in boxing.

That’s why he has a new goal, and that’s trying to compete in the 2028 Olympic Games, which will take place in Los Angeles.

“I’m going to enter the 2028 Olympics for boxing in Los Angeles,” he said on his podcast BS w/ Jake Paul.

“I’m sick and tired of waiting around, waiting for another gold for Team USA... I probably just added a couple more years on to my boxing career because of that, but Los Angeles, United States, sick as f*ck”, he added.

Paul commented on his next goal amid the uncertainty regarding the inclusion of boxing in the next Summer Olympics after the International Olympic Committee (IOC) stripped the International Boxing Association (IBA) of recognition in 2023 over its failure to implement reforms on governance and finance.

The boxing competition at the Paris Olympics was run by the IOC, which has urged national boxing federations to create a new global boxing body to secure the sport’s presence in Los Angeles in 2028. An official decision will be made in 2025.
