Wow! Real exciting times again in the UFC!” declared Conor McGregor after the announcement of UFC 317’s main event: Ilia Topuria vs. Charles Oliveira.

Though the Irishman remains absent from professional competition, he continues to post training videos from inside the cage, keeping fans guessing about his future—whether it be a return to the UFC or a potential bout under BKFC, the bare-knuckle promotion where he holds shares and serves as a prominent figure.

Dana White rules out McGregor comeback

After four years away from the octagon, with his focus largely on politics, McGregor publicly called on Dana White, hoping for a conversation that could pave the way for his comeback. “Let the UFC show begin,” he urged. However, the UFC president appears unconvinced about McGregor’s imminent return. “McGregor is not going to fight for now. I haven’t talked to him for a minute,” White stated, leaving many fans disappointed

A return to UFC would undoubtedly be the grand finale to an already electric year for MMA fans. Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, every time McGregor straps on his gloves and steps into training mode, he manages to draw the attention of fight enthusiasts worldwide.

As for boxing, speculation continues to swirl. Having stepped into the ring against Floyd Mayweather in 2017, McGregor has flirted with the idea of another boxing match in recent years. His ties to BKFC add another layer of intrigue—could a crossover bout be in the works?

KSI bout called off

Boxing has remained a lingering possibility for Conor ever since his 2017 showdown with Floyd Mayweather Jr. - a fight that ended with a technical knockout in what was Mayweather’s farewell bout. Now, the conversation has resurfaced—this time with YouTube star and boxer KSI weighing in on a potential matchup with McGregor.

We had a fight lined up, and Conor backed out. One minute, he wants to be Ireland’s prime minister, and the next, he’s off on a side quest,” KSI remarked, taking a jab at McGregor’s unpredictable career path. While speculation continues, the Irish fighter has yet to confirm whether he’ll step into the ring again—be it in traditional boxing, bare-knuckle fighting, or a UFC return.
