Update:

The 2025 Masters is just around the corner with the action in Augusta getting underway on April 10.

Scott Van Pelt will be commentating on the network for ESPN on the Thursday and the Friday and shared with the Kelce brothers his thoughts as he looks forward to his ’favorite week’ of his professional career as part of the ‘New Heights’ podcast.

It really is my favorite week. I’ve been working in the Masters for some time and the first year I went was 1997 when Tiger Woods was, you know, a kid, and he laid waste to every record there was lowest score, youngest winner, biggest margin of victory the whole bit. And that was when I started.

“I love what I get to do. The Masters is a completely different level of lunacy, like when you know that the it comes on the air and it’s whatever it is, Logan bridge, or the 13th.

He added: “Golf in general, it’s such a sport that’s rooted in history. But to me, the star of the Masters week is not even the players. It’s the stage, it’s the venue and the feelings associated with the venue. It’s going back there every spring. It’s the friendships that get rekindled, with patrons and people that work there. And you know, it’s just the whole week is so, so special. But the Masters is just feels like what it feels like because of the place, more than than who’s competing in it.”
