Social media explodes: Reactions to Tiger Woods confirming relationship with Vanessa Trump “Love is in the air”
It’s official, the golfer and the former daughter-in-law of US President Donald Trump have been dating for a few months and social media is having a field day.
Tiger Woods has made it official. On March 23, 2025 he announced on Twitter he was in a relationship with the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., son of President Donald Trump, asking 6.4 million followers for privacy.
Rumors had been circulating as the two had been seen in public together and Tiger’s post cleared up all of the doubts and instead of getting privacy, posts on X started to comment on the news.

Golf seems to have been the connecting point between the athlete and Trump’s former daughter-in-law. Their daughter Kai has shared several tournaments and attends the same school as the golfer’s children, an exclusive center in Palm Beach, Florida.
Even the Shooter McGavin X account commented on the news. The ‘Happy Gilmore’ actor Christopher McDonald couldn’t hold back:

Woods split from Elin Nordegren in 2010 after a cheating scandal broke. Since then, he has only been known to have one serious relationship, which was with the manager of one of his restaurants, Erica Herman. At 49, he and Nordegren have two children together.
Vanessa Trump, for her part, was married to Trump from 2005 to 2018, the year they decided to end their relationship. At that time, the couple had five children, although they had been living solo for some time.
