This is the prize money at the 2025 Sony Open in Hawaii: PGA Tour
The second competition of the 2025 PGA Tour is currently underway at the Waialae Country Club in Hawaii.
Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama was the firm favourite to triumph at the 2025 Sony Open, coming off the back of a record-breaking win at The Sentry last week after he shot a round of 35-under on Sunday in Hawaii, the lowest-ever 72-hole score in PGA Tour history.
However after a poor opening round, the 32-year-old sits on -3 and is tied in 26th position.
After the opening day of action at the sun-kissed Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, six players are tied at the top of the leaderboard on -6: (Tom Hoge, Harry Hall, Adam Schenk, Eric Cole, Denny McCarthy and Paul Peterson) after shooting a first round 64.
